(7)(2)(i) – Enable any local authority holding the information to carry on, without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations).
7(2)(b)(i) – Protect information where the making available of the information would disclose a trade secret.
7(2)(b)(ii) – Protect information where the making available of the information would be likely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the subject of the information.
(48)(1)(a)(i) – That the public conduct of the whole or the relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist. Where the local authority is named or specified in the First Schedule to this Act, under section 6 or section 7 (except section 7(2)(f)(i) of this Act.
(48)(1)(d) – That the exclusion of the public from the whole or relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting is necessary to enable the local authority to deliberate in private on its decision or recommendation in any proceedings to which this paragraph applies.
(48)(3)(b) – Every resolution excluding the public from any meeting shall be in the form set out in Schedule 2A to this Act and shall state the reason for the passing of that resolution in relation to that matter, including, where that resolution is passed in reliance on subsection (1)(a) of this section, the particular interest or interests protected by section 6 or section 7 of this Act, or section 6 or section 7 or section 9 of the Official Information Act 1982, as the case may require, which would be prejudiced by the holding of the whole or the relevant part of the proceedings in public.
